A Little Tea to Dream~Un tecito para soñar

How do you like to unwind after a hard day? I know for many of us it feels like we run from activity to activity, stopping just long enough to sleep and get up early the next day to start over again with lots of caffeine. Often this feels like my normal, cramming in more and more activities at the expense of relaxation.

But in those rare moments when we get the chance, there is something really special about setting time aside for yourself to just relax. I'm not very good at doing this, and it's something I've been working to prioritize in my own life. In these moments when I get the chance to let my mind rest, I find that my mind is more creative, more thoughtful, more open to inspiration and to nurturing dreams.

I designed my little tea mug with chamomile because to me, it represents everything about what it means to be relaxed. It's a state of openness, of calm, and of harmony. It's taking time to heal your mind, body and spirit, and in turn prepare and allow yourself to be more present for your friends and family. Taking time to just be doesn't mean that you're not being productive. You're working to refuel and reenergize yourself for all the many tasks that lie ahead. That is necessary.

In Spanish this mug says "A little tea to dream." And really, that's what it's perfect for--drinking a warm, relaxing beverage (I love chamomile tea), and allowing your thoughts and dreams to fill you with peace and inspiration for the day to come. It's serenity, and it's self-care and self-love in a cup. I absolutely enjoy taking a little time at the end of the day to enjoy a tea and dream and imagine and just relax.

And the next morning when I wake up, I get my coffee mug or morning tea mug and enjoy that caffeine! Here's to hoping that you get a chance this week to take a little much deserved time for yourself to dream. Talk soon.
